Before class time on Thursday, you should post your pitch for your third story on your WordPress blog, due Tuesday, March 26.
As with your prior stories, you’ll need a minimum of three direct sources (interview subjects). The story should be a minimum of 600 words and should include a still photo.
You’ll make your pitch in class on Thursday.
If you’re having trouble coming up with story ideas, remember to use social media as a listening tool, looking for trending ideas and searching by keyword (Ole Miss, Mississippi, Oxford MS, etc.).
You should also refer back to the Curiosity and Story Ideas textbook chapter (p. 71-81) that you were assigned to read for the week prior to spring break.
